Senior Research Executive

Paul has 17 years’ experience in research, training, and development. He has expertise in managing teams, research, monitoring and evaluation of programs including the development of M&E plans, M&E methodologies, and indicators; undertaking baseline surveys, process, mid-term, and end-term evaluations; conducting data quality assessments and management, interpreting performance results and analysis of the implications of such results in the country context; report writing and promoting research uptake. His expertise has seen him lead various country and cross-country teams in 54 countries in Africa.

He has consulted for International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD), International Land Coalition (ILC), BMZ Germany, The Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) to mention but a few. Paul has also overseen many research projects locally and regionally.

Paul is experienced trainer and workshop facilitator with substantial experience in monitoring and evaluation, project management, gender mainstreaming and gender audits.  

Paul holds master’s in public health (Monitoring and Evaluation) and Master of Arts in Gender and Development Studies. He is a member of the global ESOMAR (European Society of Opinion & Market Research (ESOMAR), and Evaluation Society of Kenya (ESK).
